Prof. Dr. Bhupendra S. Chauhan

Prof. Dr. Bhupendra Singh Chauhan is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at GLA University, Mathura, India. Born on May 5, 1975, he holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Kongju National University, South Korea, with a specialization in biodiesel-fueled diesel engines. He also completed an M.E. in Thermal Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and holds a B.E. equivalent (AMIE) in Mechanical Engineering.

Prof. Chauhan has undertaken postdoctoral research at Pusan National University, South Korea, focusing on renewable energy, wind energy, microfluidics, and ocean engineering. His extensive research interests include renewable and alternative energy systems, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, multi-generation systems, hydrogen energy, biofuels, and optimization techniques including AI/ML applications in energy systems.

He has authored over 40+ high-impact SCI/SCIE journal publications in recent years, covering topics such as hybrid power systems, waste-to-energy technologies, thermal management, desalination, and green hydrogen production. His work is widely recognized, with a Google Scholar h-index of 25 (3319 citations) and Scopus h-index of 23 (2543 citations) as of June 2025. His total SCI impact factor exceeds 492.5.

Prof. Chauhan is also actively involved in global collaborations and multidisciplinary research projects, many of which are published in top-tier journals such as Renewable Energy, Energy, Journal of Cleaner Production, Process Safety and Environmental Protection, and International Journal of Hydrogen Energy.
