Prof. Dr. Emad M. Saad El-Said

Prof. Dr. Emad Mohamed Saad El-Said Abdul Aziz is a Full Professor and Vice-Dean for Graduate and Research Affairs at the Faculty of Engineering, Damietta University, Egypt. Born on August 3, 1977, in Mansoura, Egypt, he has built a distinguished academic and professional career in mechanical power engineering, with a specialization in experimental and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), thermo-fluid systems, desalination, solar energy, and hydraulic machines.

He earned his academic ranks through roles at several prominent Egyptian institutions, including Fayoum University, Future Higher Institute, and New Cairo Technological University. Prof. El-Said has a solid background in both academia and industry, having served as a maintenance and technical support engineer in Egypt and Saudi Arabia from 2000 to 2014. He is also an experienced trainer for multiple national and international institutions.

His research has earned substantial recognition, with Scopus h-index of 37, Google Scholar h-index of 42, and more than 4,000 citations across various platforms. He has published over 90 research items, contributed to numerous projects, and continues to be active in research and teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in subjects such as energy management, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, renewable energy, and desalination.

Prof. El-Said is a certified expert in MATLAB, CFD simulation, and hydraulic systems design.
